How is our data kept secure?

Every tenant is isolated by row-level security in the database. Sign-in uses email + password or Google. Public share pages only expose the read-only timetable views you publish — never master data, users, or billing details.

Which CSV files are required for a weekly timetable?

Teachers, Subjects, Teacher Capabilities, Classes, Rooms, Assignments, and Availability. Templates and sample data are downloadable from each master-data screen.

In what order should I import my CSVs?

Teachers → Subjects → Teacher Capabilities → Classes & Rooms → Assignments → Availability → Exam Types & Sessions. This order prevents reference errors because each import validates names against the previous ones.

Can I set constraints (e.g. no PE last period)?

Yes. Open the /constraints page to add hard or soft rules such as forbidden periods, preferred slots, daily caps, and Clubbed Slots.

What happens when the generator finds conflicts?

Conflicts are surfaced inline on the Timetable page with row-level details and suggested fixes. You can drag entries between slots, edit assignments, or adjust availability and re-run the generator. The grid re-validates live so you see any new clash immediately.

Can I regenerate a timetable later?

Yes. Re-running generation creates a new version without losing your master data. The Substitutions page lets you handle one-off teacher absences without a full rebuild.

CSV (.csv) and Excel (.xlsx, .xls). The parser auto-detects whether the file is laid out as a flat row table or a calendar grid.

Yes. If you later create an account, the audit upload made with your guest token is claimed automatically and can be imported as master data (classes, teachers, subjects, assignments) into your tenant so you don't re-enter it.
